DESCRIPTION AND HISTORY

A highly advanced branch of the human race. It was said that they represent human advancement if there had not been the Dark Ages.

Their original homeworld of Tollan was destroyed by geological distasters and they have relocated on a new world called Tollana.

They are enemies of the Goa'uld, but do not attack, only defend with their ion cannons which can rip through a Goa'uld mothership in mere seconds.

The Tollans were destroyed by Tanith and his advanced mothership under orders from Anubis after they had failed to produced weapons of mass-destruction to use against Earth and other enemies of the Goa'uld.

Narin
A leader among the Tollan, he was among the refugees taken on by the SGC when Tollan was destroyed. He had a particular infatuation with Samantha Carter.

He was killed when Tanith destroyed Tollana with his mothership from orbit.

Omac
The leader of the group of Tollans found by SG-1, he was particularly hostile towards Earth and their desire to gain advanced technology. He later recognised that Earth wasn't as irresponsible as had first thought.

A member of the Curia, the Tollan governmental body. He was fiercely opposed to help the Goa'uld build advanced weapons using Tollan technology. He was assassinated in order to protect the secret.

Travell
The leader of the Curia, she hopes only for the good of her people. She arbitrated Tollan law and justice.

When the ion cannons failed to destroy Tanith's mothership, she and the Curia were forced to build weapons of mass-destruction for the Goa'uld. She was presumably killed by the attack of Tanith's mothership.
