Heru-ur |
BIOGRAPHY
When SG-1 destroyed Thor's Hammer which protected the planet Cimmeria from Goa'uld attacks, Heru-ur moved in and conquered the planet in a relatively short amount of time. SG-1 intervened and brought news of the invasion to the Asgard Thor who was protecting the planet, an Asgard mothership was sent and destroyed all of Heru-ur's invasion force. Learning that Apophis had fathered a harcesis child with Amaunet, which would contain the genetic knowledge of the Goa'uld that fathered him, Heru-ur attacked Abydos and planned to capture the child. With a clever ruse by the part of Daniel Jackson and the timely intervention of SG-1, Heru-ur did not get his hands on the child and was wounded in a battle with Jack O'Neill. With the apparent "resurrection" of Apophis who now had control of Sokar's vast army, the Goa'uld System Lords entered into a shaky alliance to protect themselves from Apophis. Heru-ur, seeing that their was more to gain by be allied with Apophis, decided to attempt an alliance with his foe. Both Goa'uld met in the neutral Tobin system around a planet littered with mines that were sensitive most weapons, including Goa'uld, and would detonated and destroy any ship firing a weapon in the field. Clever re-programming by SG-1 and the Tok'ra Selmak made it look as though Heru-ur was attacking Apophis, who promptly revealed his secret cloaked fleet of motherships and destroyed his mothership, killing Heru-ur and covering his escape with his fleet of motherships. The remainder of Heru-ur's forces were absorbed by Apophis, making the Goa'uld more powerful than ever. NOTES Heru-ur's symbiote is the child of Ra and Hathor's, meaning that he inherited most of Ra's vast armies after the Supreme System Lord's death.
