An ancient System Lord that once ruled in ancient Babylonia. He is the Goa'uld who killed Nem's mate, Omoroca. He was said to have been a very tyrannical Goa'uld.

Belus is the Latin name for the deity known as Baal. It is unknown if he is or is related to the Goa'uld Baal.
