BIOGRAPHY

Among the most powerful and influential of the System Lords, Bastet is often the ally of Kali, another System Lord. The two signed a treaty with Sobek and betrayed him during the celebratory feast, killing him and taking over his territory and armies. It is even said that Sobek's head still decorated Bastet's palace at Bubastis.

When attacks on behalf of an unknown Goa'uld began plaguing her and the other System Lords' holdings, she agreed to a truce and met with her peers on a heavily guarded space station. When the late arrival of Osiris revealed that it was in fact Anubis that was conducting the attacks, she and the other System Lords were forced to vote to allow Anubis back among the System Lords. Reluctantly, she and the other System Lords except Yu voted Anubis back on the condition that he destroyed Earth which had been a constant threat to the Goa'uld System Lords.

NOTES

Bastet and Kali are two of the rare System Lords who can actually maintain an alliance without turning on one another.
