BIOGRAPHY

Queen of Apophis and mother of Klorel. She took the Abydonian Sha're, Daniel Jackson's wife, as her host when Apophis raided the planet.

After having left Chulak with Apophis, a year later she resurfaced on Abydos, pregnant with the child of Apophis' human host. Such an act is forbidden and punishable by death among the Goa'uld and the System Lords since the child would contain all the memories of the Goa'uld that fathered him. After giving birth to the child, Daniel Jackson hid the child and put the blame on Heru-ur who had come to abduct the child in vain. Amaunet returned through the stargate with Apophis after she did not reveal the hidden position of SG-1 to Apophis.

She returned almost a year later to Abydos under the protection of the Horus guard. She took the child from Kasuf, the elder on Abydos and father of Sha're, and sent it to Kheb along with her most trusted servant in order to remain hidden from the other Goa'uld System Lords. She attacked Daniel Jackson with her ribbon device and was killed by Teal'c after he was forced to shoot her with his staff weapon.

Sha're, her host, apparently managed to transmit a message via the ribbon device to Daniel Jackson.

NOTES

Amaunet was apparently not in complete control of Sha're since she let SG-1 escape willingly and neglected to mention them to Apophis. She also managed to send a message to Daniel Jackson via her ribbon device.

Amaunet gives birth to the harcesis which is hidden by Daniel Jackson.

Amaunet is killed by Teal'c before she could kill Daniel Jackson with her ribbon device.
